Since 2002 Nichole Holtvluwer has worked with young children and their adults as they navigate the first years of life, including “potty training” or what we call “bathroom independence”. What was discovered - through all of that time and experience - it is the adult’s attitude that is crucial in ensuring positive (or negative) results in the child’s journey learning to use the toilet.

This webinar will empower the adult to find confidence, peace and patience - and even joy! - with the bathroom independence journey.

We will discuss ways to setup and design your space to accommodate the child and foster independence, when to begin the process, possible setbacks and the language necessary to create a positive environment where the child can flourish as they become aware of their body and the elimination process.
